Privacy policy
Last updated: July 30, 2026
This notice explains how Joyeros App (“Joyeros”, “we”) handles personal data when you visit joyeros.app, use our public tools, or run your jewelry store in the product.
Controller
Joyeros App is operated by Upsky. For privacy questions or rights requests, email hola@joyeros.app.
This notice is issued in line with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its Regulations.
Data we collect
Account and profile: name, email, password (stored hashed), phone, profile photo, language, and preferences.
Business: trade name, contact details, address, currency, tax settings, logo, and counter preferences.
Product data: inventory, purchases, sales, customers, suppliers, employees, reports, and files or images you upload.
Technical use: IP address, browser type, pages visited, access timestamps, and logs needed for security and diagnostics.
Public tools (gold and silver price): no account required; we may record aggregated usage metrics only.
Purposes
Provide, maintain, and improve the service: authentication, multi-business access, inventory, point of sale, reporting, and support.
Communicate about your account, security, service changes, and support replies.
Meet legal obligations, prevent fraud, and protect the platform.
Produce aggregated, anonymous statistics about product usage. We do not sell personal data.
Legal basis
We process data because it is necessary to perform the service contract, because you consent when you create an account or contact us, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the platform, provided your rights do not override that interest.
Processors and third parties
We use vendors that process data on our behalf—for example authentication and database infrastructure, file storage, hosting, and error monitoring. They receive only what they need and must protect it.
If you use billing features, the payment processor handles payment data under its own policies; Joyeros does not store full card numbers.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or service continuity.
Retention
We keep data while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal duties, dispute resolution, and security. You may request account deletion; limited records may be retained when the law requires it.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures: encryption in transit, access controls, per-business data isolation, and role-based permissions. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong password and do not share access.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, cancellation, or opposition to processing of your personal data, and where applicable limit use or withdraw consent.
Email hola@joyeros.app with the subject “Privacy / ARCO” and identify the related account or email. We will respond within the timelines set by law.
If you believe your request was not properly handled, you may contact Mexico’s INAI.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage needed for session, preferences (language and theme), and security. You can block cookies in your browser; some product features may stop working.
Children
Joyeros is built for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us to delete it.
Changes
We may update this notice. The “last updated” date shows the current version. For material changes, we will notify you on the site or by email when reasonable.
