No. Joyeros doesn't track loans, renewals, interest or due dates. It helps you value pieces at today's price and keep inventory and sales for the pieces that move to your display case.
How is a piece's gold value calculated?
The piece's weight is multiplied by its purity to get the pure gold content, and that content by today's price per gram of gold.
Is the metal value what I should lend or pay?
Not necessarily. The quoter gives you the estimated metal value as a reference; how much to lend or pay is your call, under your own policy.
Can I value silver too?
Yes. The quoter switches between gold and silver, with karat for gold and fineness for silver.
